Kale "Red Russian"

Tender, colorful stems are purple; leaves are deep gray-green, purple-veined, flat, noncurled, and tooth-edged. Leaves are tender compared to other kales. For salads and light cooking. NOTE: To extend storage time, dunk leaves in cold water.
